This shrimp and spinach pasta is a wonderful summertime pasta dish. Juicy and tender, the garlic shrimp is cooked perfectly. They're tossed in a light and creamy tomato sauce filled with fresh basil, parsley, and spinach. It's very flavorful. Mixed with spaghetti, it's an impressive pasta dinner without a ton of work.

Ingredients For shrimp and spinach pasta

  • 8 oz
    spaghetti
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 lb
    large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 can
    diced tomatoes, drained (28 oz each)
  • 1/2 c
    white wine
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped fresh basil
  • 1/2 c
    cream cheese, softened
  • 2 c
    fresh spinach, torn
  • 1/4 c
    fresh grated Parmesan cheese
  • fresh ground pepper, to taste

How To Make shrimp and spinach pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

  • Cook pasta until al dente and set aside.
